One thing that these two don't get enough credit for is the amazing pace that they keep. They just go non stop. Much different then the matches like Steamboat vs. Flair that had 30 headlocks and was kept at a very slow pace.

Recently, Vader was asked in an interview, " What was a locker room conversation with Stan after that fucking eyeball hung out ? and said, "He walked up to me like 'what's wrong with you ?'" Actually, Vader ended up with eye surgery with his right one taken out of an eye socket. And I recall Stan said a few months after that match, "Leon and I don't give a shit to that match any more. We could team up. Fans here would like it." No doubt both are two of the stiffest and toughest ever. LOL

Ugh, that eye-ball popping out was just gruesome. Stan is definitely not a joke, lol. And Vader has the highest pain tolerance of any man. How that guy isn't blind in that eye is a miracle. I never knew gaijin's have battled for the AJPW TCT as much as that. Still, I figured the IWGP title didn't have a long list of Gaijin vs Gaijin main events. The only one, aside from Vader/Hansen that you COULD technically mention would be Lesnar/Angle. Though that was in IGF.

This might have been the funniest ring entrance segment in wrestling history....Williams scares the shit out of the audience and Hansen almost runs a flower girl over. Oh and the dirty elbow by Hansen at the beginning was funny too.

Stan Hansen was legally blind for most of his career. He was more than likely not able to see her.
