One week into my Invaslign treatment... What I didn't realize:

1. Buttons/attachments - arg!
2. How to eat/brush throughout the day
3. Ends with me taking my Invisalign in and out

  • @EmelysNailArt Hi, I just go my Invisalign trays and itcame down to $7,200 for 11 months of treatment. They did say that any additional trays needed after would be free of charge, as the initial time frame for your treatment is supposed to yield the desired results. I guess that's one of the good things about it; I won't just be on my own if I or my ortho is unhappy with the progression. Since my insurance/HSA covered much of it, I ended up paying about $1,400 out of pocket. Hope that helps!

  • But they sand the buttons off after you're completely done with treatment. And would you rather have a few small bumps or a metal bracket on each tooth?! lol you're supposed to wear them like 22 hours a day anyway so it shouldn't matter what your buttons look like with no tray in :P

But helpful video, thank you :)

  • Good tips on things you may not think about when considering invisalign

  • Very helpful

  • you are so pretty and lovely! thanks for sharing I am not putting damned bracers at all, but this seems like a smarter alternative!

  • I'm really hoping to get invisalign, but my insurance doesn't cover braces, if I were to pay it off how much would it be without any insurance help? /:

  • @PinkIce009 i have invisalign a well so yeah they do

  • They're made out of the same kind of material used to make tooth colored fillings :) thats what my orthodontist told me.

  • @PinkIce009 yes they do. Everytime you go in to get the next set of trays (i get 3 sets everytime i go in) they will remove the current buttons/attachments and put new ones on in a different spot. They dont damage your teeth at all either.

  • Do they take the buttons off when your completely done with the treatment??
