In two recent interviews -- now available in back-to-back streaming video -- World Energy Television CEO Richard Loomis discussed energy strategy in the United Kingdom with the UK Minister of State for Energy, Malcolm Wicks; and the Chairman for Renewable Energy, Prof. Ian Bryden.
In his interview, Minister Wicks fields questions concerning supply, the North Sea and the role of renewables. Further conversation includes UK plans for the oil majors and incentives for technology advanced companies to invest in renewables. The Minister also discusses renewable obligations, the advantages of high cost of oil and the UK's efforts toward energy efficiency.
Focusing on renewables, Prof. Ian Bryden of the University of Edinburgh explains renewable targets for the UK as well as the renewable resources currently in use and being developed, including wave and tidal. He also elaborates on renewable devices being tested, the process to develop them commercially and the challenges and cost involved.
A "Nothing" interview by member of the establishment.

Recently I took part in a counselling programme for senior management at a UK energy supplier.
Many participants talked about the ‘shame’ they felt for overcharging vulnerable members of the public and deliberately cutting service to enhance profit margins. We were instructed to offer them solace, assuring them they were serving the community as good citizens & go on about they were helping to combat climate change.
When I refused to toe the line & offered criticism, I was forced out.
