A small ant hill colony developed when a bin lid was blown onto a paved area landing probably where there was already a colony of ants underneath. As it was dark under the lid I expect the ants thought it was still underground and continued to develop their colony into the cavity. This happened in only a few weeks.

  • the tens of ant nest outside fends of termites for me. its winter now and only 4 colenies are remianing. i cant believ they are surviving the first part of the winter.

  • @JenkoTV you let the lid lay there for a few weeks? you didnt need it?

  • @cmsmiley13 It was just a lid that landed there on the ground. The ants did the rest.

  • did you put the lid and dirt and ants there? like how did that happen? i like watching ants but i feel like ive seen all the video's on youtube
