I'm sorry, but I don't believe it. They would NOT do that. If they want you to be silient, it wouldn't be to protect the pedophiles, but to protect their church name. I still find this appalling on their side. And parents should be going to the police! If you've been molested, and your parents know, it's up to your PARENTS to go to authorities and have these rapists JAILED! That is NOT the responsibility of the churches of JW's! But JW's should NOT be PROTECTING RAPISTS!

I was abused by my father, and when mum went to the elders, they did nothing because there weren't two witnesses to my abuse. We were told not to go to the police as it would be a sin against Jehovah. This is a widespread problem in the Watchtower Society, and one that they don't seem to want to do anything about

@OutoftheCocoon But when warned many deny it. Or fail to accept it. Claiming its propaganda, the work of the worldlies/satan. In framing the us and them life view, well any insiders sin can easily projected on to the outside. Really thats one of the main psychological mechanisims of so called good and evil, pure impure truth and lies. Its black and white thinking and its v damaging and hides a multitude of "sins" conveinently.

@IIllIIllIIIlIIIllIlI You are all in conflict, well ur message reads as such. Its awful isnt it. I agree. Its putting image protecting above compassion and decency. One just accepts that religious orgs are decent.. as they claim to be. This is a mistake and a guise many abusers hide under. The cloak of decency hides much, but only for so long.

Rod Taylor, Claus Uecker, Malcom MacLaren...they all use the two witness rule to get themselves out of the shit, but in doing so, dig themselves deeper in.
What criminals do you know of that takes two witnesses along with them when they commit a crime? the two witness rule is meant that two witnesss should be there to witness what the person says when they are complaining...just like two policemen are there when a complaint is given, but witnesses use and abus and twist the scriptures.

The Police here in the North of Scotland are now working with the Police in Germany to catch this person in my own case. But I have received threats from elders, have been stalked,and intimidated in the hope I would give up the case, but the Police are on to it. Romas 13 tells us that we should obey they authorities as they stan there in their places because jehovah allows it, they are Gods public servants serving his very purpose, so to go against the law you go against him.
