It demos the Dahon Mu Uno folding bike's folding process and another way to roll/drag it which are not advertised in the user's manual & brochure. I found it to be much more balanced and easier to roll. It's more like dragging one of those suitcases with rear wheels.

few tips to pay attention while rolling the bike this way:
1) release the front brake as shown in the video. this may not apply to other dahon models.
2) adjust the height of the seat so that you don't need to lift it up too much, otherwise it gets heavy. Ideally the seat should be lifted just around 2-3 inches, not more.
3) Rolling it with left arm. When rolling it with right arm, the arm needs to be extend sideway to reach for the seat, thus make it harder to roll.

  • hi, what is the point of releasing the front brake? will the bike not roll without the brake being released?

  • that's right, the front wheel won't roll if the brake is not released, because the brake seems to tighten once the handle post is folded, so much so that it touches the rim.

  • Not sure if the main folding alignment is off, but my Mu Uno's wheels do not align perfectly when folded, so there is a bit of lopsided-ness to the folded drag or push. Has anyone else had this experience?

  • is something like this doable with an ECO 3 model?

  • i thought these ones didn't come with front brakes? did you add it on for legal purposes?
