,,Forgive me Gella,, - this song I created and performed 40 years ago and this is the story about my ,,FIRST LOVE,, which one I met and lost in 1971. I found this girl Gella, who is 61 now and very soon we wiil talk....She did know what really happened in 1971 …. Alex Krasnoshek USA

Thank you for tutorial - have been wanting to learn this wonderful song for a very long time,
but had no idea where to begin LOL

The Dutch, the Danes espec. (like me), the Swedes & Norwegians get a lot of "E" for free, bec. of our closely related languages (to E) with lots of sim. basic words & grammar, so it's act. fairly easy for us to pick up E. It (det) often (ofte) feels(føles) more (mere) like (lige) expanding our (vor) own languages than ( end [en*]) learning (lær) a completely new (ny) language.
Hvad mere kan jeg [yaigh] sige [see-ye]? = What more can I (!) say?
Hav en god dag [day(gh)] ;-)

Wow man you really have no ear if you think these chords are off...Maybe I am not perfectly in tune but the chords and key are correct.

Hey man,
Fist of all, very nice! But I play it without the capo (same chords) only barré. so I can do the solo without any trouble. Just a tip man.
Barry de Gooijer
Ps. Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Holland (The Netherlands). And 'barré' is when you make your index finger the capo, sorry but i don't know the english word for it so...

The English word for it is barre, just without the accent aigui. Some people think it's "bar", but that's wrong. Yes, you make a good point but I was just trying to recreate the proper feel of the song. This is the key they played it in (capo 8th fret). But it is a hassle to remove the capo at the end of the song to play the solo. Thanks for the comment.
P.S. Your English is fine. I just wish that Americans learned a language with such a commitment and veracity that Europeans learn English.
