Exactly the chicken already had its throat slit and neck broken.....he is simply de-feathering it.

@TheYoungTopGun look closely. he wasn't killing it by ripping off feathers and skin. he was defeathering/skinning an already dead chicken.

this didn't bother me at all. after quick analysis, I realized the chicken was already dead. live chickens don't have limp swinging heads. so he wasn't slaughtering it--that was already done, likely by neckbreaking. he was defeathering/skinning it. lighten up. this is life.

@sega31098 thats not true, there are religious groups like jains that don't eat any meat at all. In hinduism, brahmins aren't supposed to eat any meat too.
