2010 Death Valley Encounter Endurance Ride

This was day 4 of the Death Valley Encounter XP ride. We rode some pretty rocky back trails by Panamint Valley, great work for the horses conditioning. They like technical stuff. Ride managers put on yet another fabulous ride. Trails were very well marked, and plenty of water for the horses. Thanks Duck for a super fun ride.

@usandpets It was really nice riding. The XP Multi-Day Rides are very low key and fun. If you ever get the chance to ride one I say go for it

@usandpets this was way out in Trona,California on private land. It just depends on which region the rides are in. Some rides are held at state parks & on BLM land.

@pixiehorse I think you passed us. we were with Karen Chaton, letting our horses graze. I was sick and had a fever with body aches. We only live 20 min away so my husband drove me and Bee home to shower after day 1, and I puked up what little I ate that day. By the time I went back to camp I had the chills really bad Needless to say Bee went on to ride Diva on day 2, we took Skylar home since he was having a fit at not going out again. I developed a cough that took 3 weeks to get rid of

@pixiehorse You have gotta try it sometime. Great fun, and the scenery was really amazing. The waterfall was totally unexpected out there ! We were going to do the Eastern Mojave Classic this week, but the kids have to pack and leave for a Fair this week, so it would have really cut it short for us time wise if we went. But we will be at the Bar H Ride next month. Will you be there to ??
