You people don't seem to get it. Guns are used in this country to prevent more crimes than they are used to commit. Often a gun can be used to stop a crime without even firing a shot. and why do people do target practice? becaue it's FUN! I've never heard of anyone objecting to people who like archery, when arrows can also be used to kill. Besides, way more people use guns to hunt animals than to kill people. He's right, if guns are banned, only criminals will have them.

@agalligani NO NO NO NO NO!!!! You are totally off base here! 7 people were NOT NOT NOT!! killed by a gun! They were killed by a psychotic PERSON who just happened to have a gun. AND he was stopped by a GOOD PERSON who also had a gun! The gun DID NOT walk into the church by itself and kill 7 people! The other gun DID NOT stop the maniac! The maniac walked into the church with a gun and killed 7 people! A GOOD CITIZEN with a gun stopped him! Can you get that through your shortsighted mind?
