  • Hi, Dave! Thank you very much for all that information! From you experience, what is the best guitar brand? I have 2 Larrivees (OM 19-special vine edition and L-10 deluxe from 1978.) and that OM model is the best guitar I've ever played, really!

  • @hesse13

I like old Guild and Gibson

    thats just me

  • Hey Davey,

I recently bought a fender jazzmaster classic player off ebay and ive noticed that one of the saddle screws is missing, so the saddle is only held in place by the string itsself and is buzzing like a bitch. Any ideas where to get these little screws? Im annoyed as the guy said it was in 'perfect condition'

    Cheers!

  • Buy a bridge bone thinger and a nut then sand the bottoms down so its lower.

  • What's a neck reset?

  • Who cares about quarters? The action is high so adjust it. This video is a bunch of complaining.

  • $1200 is crazy money for a guitar that needs a complete overhaul. Easy decision though, you spend the $400 and get it done. It's a beautiful instrument overall.

  • "Ripped off?" It's 40 years old and needs a neck reset. That's standard luthier stuff. I would not trust this "expert" with my guitar for the work though.

  • Shove it in a humidity case for about a month. That might take care of the warping and the neck.

You don't mention where he bought the guitar location-wise. If it was up north, then it no doubt has been dry for a long time. I use humidifiers on all my acoustics from Nov-Apr.
