@gotyou321 Woah! It's one thing poking it with something but don't sniff it. The fumes are really dangerous! Don't touch it with your skin and do not inhale the fumes. Look up mercury poisoning on Wikipedia.

@gotyou321 All mercury's dangerous so, yes, you shouldn't play with it. I broke my thermometer on accident and couldn't help but play with it once it was out. But it's a very bad idea, all the same.
