Right on, brudda...but still, I think 80s Rush is so vastly underrated! To me, some of their most creative music was recorded from 1980-1989. But hey, still, it's ALL GOOD!

@truthaintpretty This is one of the few bands that changed from typical 70's rock into angular synth driven stuff, and I love both era's. I think Rush albums sound great because they really immerse themselves in each sound, and and like Floyd the music blends with the lyrics as a concept!

Any band that has lasted this long (not many around) has different camps of fans. Some like the early stuff, some like it all, some like the later stuff, some new fans, etc. I'm sure there were mixed views about Signals in '82 by fans and press. But as a musician, the early 80s was a pivotal era for the great 70s bands that were crossing over. Rush did it well. Even in 1982, still no one sounded like them, depsite their shift in sound and experimentation. Brilliant! Love Signals more than ever!
