Bad thing about games with fakemons is that they're alwasy ugly :/ It would be interesting it a try if it wasn't. BTW, what's new on apricorns? when you said "new" I thought they were actually new, like fan-made

@nickreppert lol. Ok thanks, it explains it to me. Even though it makes sense now, that concept of pokemon in apricorns seems like of strange to me XD

As awesome as I think this is, it really doesn't make sense. In the past the did have pokeballs, shown in a pokemon movie with celebi. And I really don't like the idea of a pokemon popping out of an apricorn, because it's impossible. You have great ideas and I enjoyed this, but I disliked some ideas.

@NintendoPalkia Sure, they had pokeballs in the past, but they also used apricorns at some point too. If you've ever paid attention to the show or the games, they mention it several times. I read a great theory about how apricorns work. Like all plants, they have some sort of defense mechanism against predators (i.e. the Pokemon that eat them.) This defense mechanism happens to be the ability to convert the Pokemon into energy and capture that energy inside them.

This mechanism explains why certain apricorns are better at catching certain Pokemon. For example, in Gold & Silver when you take a Blue Apricorn to Kurt, he makes you a lure ball. This apricorn must grow near water where many of its predators are water type Pokemon, which explains why the apricorn would be better suited for capturing this type of Pokemon.
