Guys, it was bilrach's death that cause the whole thing, remember when Ali the wise states that when a magarat dies this happens. We all faced daemoheim cuz thats where bilrach's death was
-
@RSmatthewdj9 Nah bro, zaros left the realm ages ago and has only been communicated through the ancient sinsissten (whatever you spell it) temple
-
@KradyRS Yeah, I now realize what happened after reading the RS forums.
I think it's actually Zaros down there, trapped somehow and he tricked Bilrach into going down there. Because if it's Zamorak, why he would kill one of his most powerful and loyal followers, I do not know...
-
@RSmatthewdj9 Yeah, he was making it to the bottom of daemonheim to summon zamorak again and then after ROTM (Ritual of the Mahjarrat) you can talk to Ali the wise in Al Kharid and he says that only that type of power happens across gelinor when a Mahjarrat dies :p and Bilrach didnt attend the ritual so it is safe to assume that he died at the rift (where you can bring back zamorak)
-
@KradyRS Bilrach is dead? WTF!
-
A case of a wrong mahjarrat in the wrong place at the wrong tinme
-
@ViIIandra well then what i said was a hidden update xd...nvm
-
Bilrach died, and when he died his power got released on us. Confirmed by Ali The Wise
-
If you look at the cutscene after the boss battle of Ritual of the majharrat, u see that you, sir tiffy and the other people do this, so this was a teaser for rotm, not dungeoneering like we thought it was=P

Rune Platebodies still magically appeared in your inventory during the strange power. That's the funny part.
villandra, i got the same thing when i was smithing mithril kiteshields, it's just that when you are smithing the same thing over and over, its like the smithing style is "getting used to you" and say for example you're smithing mithril platebodies and it happens that means from then on, smithing that sort of thing will give you more xp than usual

@spongebob1872 Umm.. nope. :p It has nothing to do with smithing. It was a one time occurrence that foreshadowed the release of dungeoneering.
