congrats on one week of p90..are you taking protein shakes as well? or eating protein bars?
ThatPunkBrent 1 year ago
@ThatPunkBrent Yes but not the ones the P90X company sells. I use Puritan's Pride unsweetened soy protein usually 2x a day (in smoothies & in oatmeal) & I have 1 Clif Builder bar every day with my snacks. It's 10 cals more than the p90x ones but the other nutrition is exactly the same & the ingredients are way healthier.

Hey, I do the stickers too! Ridiculous stickers make it better. This time I'm using rainbow bee stamps for some variety. "Varietay. is. the. spice. of. life."
It sounds like the diet would make a really big difference results-wise. Your summary of the diet was informative.
Lol, p90x takes up a lot of time. Someone asked me if I had fewer friends because of p90x. And then she suggested a whole program to help you make friends again after p90x. "Life after p90x."

@johnsmithingtons Life after P90X! Totally!!! LOL I think I'm going to do further "nutrition" videos. I actually talked a bit about the kinds of things I've been eating but I edited it out because I don't like my videos to be too long. I'll do a separate one. I'm not the kind of person who can eat the same thing day in, day out, so I have to work a little harder to get variety within the guidelines of the program. Love the bee stickers!!!! :)

Hey man - congrats on finishing your first week! I really respect your motivation, hard work and will power. Where do you work out? I assume at home? What kind of space/area is necessary for doing your workouts on the program? Take care!

@rockerdood74 Thanks! I really appreciate all the support I get on here. :) I do work out at home. We have a small 2nd bedroom that we've sort of converted into a workout room. The open space is only about 6'x6'. I use the diagonal a lot LOL and for a couple of the lunges I actually go out the door into the hallway & back, but not as much space as you'd think!
