i wonder how they did all that coffin sequence with the technology (or lack thereof) for movie editing in the 60's. i'm also intrigued by how those animations were filmed and put along with the live action sequences. i love the way they do, it was so primitive but so well done, its fantastic.

Michael Palin is supposed to be an Australian, with a can of beer & a surfboard. Implying that the hole is so deep, it goes all the way to Australia. The out door scenes were filmed in Burley Woodhead, and Cow & Calf on Rombalds moor. My old school can be seen!!! happy days
