Eve Online is the worlds Biggest Sci-Fi MMO. Distinctive for its epic sandbox experience and player community. Famous for battles involving thousands of players, and metagaming that build and destroy alliances.

I find a lot of new players come to the game with the wrong impression, so I decided to make this video to explain the most important things you should know as a new pilot so you can get off to a stronger start in new Eden.

Eve Online is free to download and you can get up to 21 days free if you get an invite from another player (14 days without) - I have a limited number of invites to give out if you're interested.

  • Hey anyone know the ship at 2:18. Always wanted that one.

  • @ZiegKnow It's a Rattlesnake, the pirate version of the Scorpion. The Scorpion and Scorpion Navy issue are almost identical but with different textures.

  • @swatski87 This is in the video - but I'll clarify.

1: Control and combat in Eve is like captaining a ship, you're giving orders to the helm and the weapon systems, you're not manually aiming a turret or maneuvering the ship.

2: If your ship is destroyed, it's gone, you can travel back to station and buy a new one.

3: You only lose skill if you let your pod get killed and you haven't been paying to keep your clone up to date (very cheap). This is *very* rare, keep your clone updated!
