Trying to get some jazz chops! We get caught up in gigging and playing what people want to hear- blues licks and pentatonics- I'm just trying to get back into thinking about what I'm playing. If anyone has any harmonic concepts please share! Thanks!

  • Thank you. There's always work to be done... I was making progress and then had fell off a while. I'm still moving forward now! I did play the head of the tune in the intro!

  • I like that "Four" quote, man. Real slick.

  • You'r good, but you are sometimes killing the swing, and I think it's because you are too focused on yourself and therefore do not listen carefully to the backing track. Aabersold has a nice backing track in Eb. But in two years I'm sure you have improved.

  • Nice groove man...
