Kelly Clarkson Reflects on The 10 Year Ride Since American Idol's Season 1

Pop superstar Kelly Clarkson talks to the Wall Street Journal's Lee Hawkins about her business and brand as part of the Pepsi NFL Anthems kickoff Eve. Clarkson reflects on how fame and money affected her life, as well as how mentorship from Reba McEntire and her carefully selected team of others has helped her sell nearly 40 million records in a decade. She told Hawkins that while she served as a judge on the hit show "Duets" she can't see herself ever being a judge on American Idol.

I don't know, I also had nothing, had to do everything myself since I was a kid, my mom also had to work to take care of three kids but I didn't learn this confidence actually it went the other way. I think it's good parents not situations that create confidence. Sorry I had to say that.
