@KateriofMnisota Scripture also says For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God......it doesn't say everyone except Mary.....ALL. I appreciate you questioning...it's part of growing....but your Catechism book that the RCC created is a prime example of what God instructed us not to do. Deuteronomy 12:32 / Proverbs 30 5-6 / Revelation 22: 18-19 and Galatians 1: 6-12 state clearly that you should not add nor subtract from the BIBLE. Cannot get anymore clear. have an open heart.....

@jaytami52504 I ask that you not claim that I don't read the bible as this is a common attack against Catholics. I have probably read it more than you. Your interpretation of the passage you are using against Mary is incorrect. There is another person who was fully man that you are calling a sinner by your interpretation. Jesus is true God and true MAN. He is of the subset of ALL. So please go back and think about it some more.

@7propitious I ask that you read scripture(God's Word)and follow what it says. The BIBLE SAYS: NOBODY is sinless, yet the catholic church says Mary is sinless. The BIBLE SAYS: JESUS ONLY redeemed us of our sins, yet the catholic church says that Mary is the co-redeemer.If Mary was so important, the BIBLE would've emphasized her death..NOBODY knows when she died!! But then again, the catholic church doesn't believe that the BIBLE is sufficient enough, so they created their own.GIVE ME A BREAK !!

Not only do protestants have an altered Bible with missing books, (removed by the reformers) but they have a faulty understanding of scripture coz they reject the teaching authority that Jesus gave to the Church when he gave the Keys o/t Kingdom to PETER (1st Pope) GOD himself chose MARY, this is a fact, and you should be very careful about slandering her. GOD might not be as pleased with you as you expect

Out of curiousity, I would really like to know why you think the RCC teaches that Mary's parents were sinless?
This is absolutely false and I want to know why so many Protestants believe that the church teaches it?
What is your source for such a false belief about what the RCC teaches?
-
"this teaching contradicts the Bible which raised a red flag in my eyes. Thats when I started questioning"
Now that you have been told the RCC does not teach that Mary's parents were free from Original Sin, you can stop questioning what the RCC teaches.
May God bless you.

..."Either God was able to do this, and did not will to do it, or He willed to preserve her, and was unable to do so. If able to and yet unwilling to perform this for her, God was miserly towards her. And if He willed to do it but was unable to accomplish it, He was weak, for no one who is able to honor his mother would fail to do so."
The RCC does not teach that Mary's parents were sinless as you suggest. It teaches us that God saved Mary from Adam's sin before she was born

...the objections which had long obscured the content of divine revelation began to be overcome. This was due especially to the work of the Franciscan, Venerable John Duns Scotus. He showed that for God to preserve Mary from original sin was a greater redemption than to allow her to fall into it and then rescue her. Scotus wrote (cited from J. B. Carol, Mariology I, 368): ...

@jaytami52504 ...a prophetic foreshadowing of the Virgin Mary (Vatican II, Lumen gentium, # 55).
If there is to be complete enmity between the woman and the serpent, then she never should have been in any way subject to him (Satain) even briefly. This implies an Immaculate conception.
We turn to the early Fathers of the Church. Many, not all of them, make sweeping statements about her holiness. The church ultimately believed God preserved Mary from original sin...
I pray not only the standard rosary you are holding, but other rosary patterns. I typically do the 20 mysteries twice a day. I also do the standard rosary using the Divine Mercy pattern at 3 pm in honor of Jesus's passion. Finally I do the Holy Face Rosary which is a completely different pattern of beads which is on my channel.

The Catholic also views The Virgin Mary as "sinless". The Bible clearly states that we are ALL sinners. Mary is no exception. Catholic church says that for Jesus Christ to be born into this world, he would've had to be born from a sinless "source". But if this is the case, then Mary's mom would've had to be sinless, and then Mary's grandmother, greatgrandmother and so forth. This teaching contradicts the Bible which raised a red flag in my eyes. Thats when I started questioning......God Bless

@jaytami52504 You may be interested in my video about Mary as the Ark of the New Covenant, a concept that comes straight from Luke. It is not Catholic teaching that Mary's parents were sinless, only that God preemptively saved Mary from sin in order to prepare her to be the pure vessel for His Son. When you realize how holy God is, it can only make sense that Mary had to be as pure a vessel as the ark.

@KateriofMnisota The BIBLE says...ALL fall short of the Glory of God. The BIBLE also mentions that if you should think anybody is sinless, the truth is not in you. God didn't have to adhere to the "sinful" nature of us humans and make Mary "sinless" to send His son Jesus. God would not contradict himself. He wouldn't say that nobody is sinless and then create Mary to be sinless. God is perfect. No faults or errors. God brought Christ to us sinless despite coming out of a sinful human. God bless.

@jaytami52504 No, scripture says that if we claim that we are without sin, the truth is not in us. I would be a liar if I said I was sinless. How do you explain Luke's comparison of Mary to the Ark of the Covenant?
