DROP #1

DROP sprouts from experiences when the rug is pulled out from underneath us, and leads the audience on an unusual ride through surreal, intuitive, shifting realities with unexpected mergings of dance, music and theater.

Created with an Emerging Choreographer grant from the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation, produced by DanceArt, Inc., and developed through a residency at CELLspace in San Francisco, DROP seeks to turn as much as possible upside down and inside out.

Directed/Choreographed by Eric Kupers, with text by Kimiko Guthrie. Created with and performed by Dandelion Dancetheater, with original music by David Ryther, Mantra Plonsey and the ensemble.
