Mike the Bike, Phil Read, Little Bill Ivy , Ago and Paso; plus the wonderful sidecar boys- Auerbacher, Helmu Fath, Seely, Cris Vincent, Sideways Sid Schauzu, Klaus Enders...Names all brought back again, so vividly after viewing your footage! Hard to believe it is now 43 years since I attended the Diamond Jubilee meeting.. Those were indeed the Golden Era of 'bike racing!! Happy Memories...I must return again, before I'm too old! Thanks Bernie!!

Can anyone recall the account of Ago. losing time by slamming on his anchors when he experienced a heat shimmer on the road ahead of him ? A common enough experience for regular riders, never mind a top rider like him. Hard to believe.

Many thanks for sharing your video with us, really brought back memories for me. I was a marshall at Quarter Bridge, but I didn't see myself in the film!!!

excellent, there was more! Anymore in the pipeline Bernie? Though I'm no biker, Mike's story has enthralled me ever since I picked up Ted Macauley's biographies a year or two back.

nice video!Thanks.
great memories! thanks for the time and effort in making the video possible, I was there in 66 with my old friend Bill who passed away, I'm sure he would have enjoyed watching this.

I was there on holiday in 1967 when I was 12 years old and saw all the races that week. It must have cost you a bomb to shoot colour movies in those days, but it's great to see the results that really capture the essence of the TT in the sixties. Great!!!

Thanks for your kind comments. It wasn't that costly, except in time, Each reel of film was just two minutes so there was a lot of editing and patient waiting for Kodak to return the processed film.
