So people don't usually comment on marathons * i think*, cause well the next chapter's up already.

He started writing his letters, to his dad, his mom, Kevin and most importantly, Joe.
He grimaced as he wrote, blood smeared on each letter as he wrote, the letters contained everything Daniel had to say, how he felt and all that mattered.
"Did you find anything in my pockets, there was a ring and a necklace there."
"I can check with them."
"Pass them to Joe for me. Make sure he comes out alive."
"You know, you may come out alive, don't think you're gonna be dead by the end of today."
"I'd rather be, so don't do your best, leave that for Joe i'm begging you." with hardly any sound coming out.
He kept each letter in envelopes, well labelled and started crying, "I can't believe this is it." he sobbed.
"This is not it." the doctor reassured him.
"Then make this it, if my life, can save Joe's, i'd rather that happen. So if i crash, don't even bother." he cried, "Please."
The doctor turned around to wipe away the tears forming.
"I've never met a greater man, than you. I'm glad i met you." he gave Daniel a hug.
They went into the operating theatre and 2 hours into it Daniel's vitals start to drop; he's bleeding faster than they can pump blood back in.
The doctor rushes to try bring it back up, "No, no... Don't die on me." the doctor starts to feel a gush of emotion.
Within minutes Daniel goes into cardiac arrest, they resusitate him, taking longer than they should and they rush to complete the surgery.
"He's brain dead, isn't he.." the nurse asked.
The doctor nodded. "Call Dr Lee in, to prepare the organs. Prep Jonas for surgery."
"What?" the nurse said.
"Let me finish, keep him on life support, wait for his father.." he threw his gown and gloves away and walked out.
Daniel's father didn't pick up, not one hour, not two hours, he only got the news the day after.
He rushed down and cried when he saw his son.
"You might want to see him one last time.." the doctor said.
"Why? WHY??!?!!?" he shouted.
"He's signed documents, to pull the plug, you were not here to decide, so he signed the documents."
"No, what kind of dipshit logic is that?! He's not old enough to decide!!!"
"There was no time, you were not picking up."
"I HAD AN IMPORTANT MEETING." he shouted.
"More important than your son." the doctor replied, "Your son was here, CRYING HIS HEART OUT. YOU were at an 'IMPORTANT MEETING?'"
Daniel's father sat on the floor and cried, "I will sue you. Doctor Brian Donnelly." he said crying bitterly.
"Go ahead, but i'm telling you right now, your son begged me to let him decide, don't feel sorry for yourself, think about what went through his mind when he decided to sign those documents. You son is a bigger man than you are. We have to follow the documents, we're going to pull the plug in an hour, he left a letter for you and your wife." the doctor said before walking out.
He went straight to the staff lounge and broke down, so many years working, he'd never felt this way. He thought he'd seen it all, he was the most impartial at work. Till he met Daniel.
