1080p IS NOT 2K. Granted, they are close, but that's like calling 720p, 1080p. 2K is still a class and a half above 1080p. Please, get it right.

You do realize 2k IS 1080p...We've had that for YEARS!
However, 4k, now that would be something. I just feel like we haven't maxed the benefits of 2k just yet to even be thinking of 4k.
When all movies are recorded in IMAX-like definition, broadcast tv changes from fake 1080i to true 1080p, and when consoles play games at 1080p and not 720p. Then, and only then, should we consider 4k.

Can't wait to see 2k and 4k hd in action!, although the difference would be more noticeable above 50 inches, it would still be awesome as a pc monitor where you'd have a huge workspace.
