http://www.balticaa.com Baltic Aviation Academy at its Vilnius premises operates both of these types full flight simulators and decided to take an advantage of it by making video report. Pranas Drulis, ATPL integrated student and Assistant Training Manager, who already has the excellent skills of operating B737 and A320, has agreed to show and explain control devices, cockpit, engine failure controlling, comfort differences.

  • @GoldEagleX14 The A320 first flew in 1987. The 737 Classic first flew in 1984. Same decade. It is perfectly fair to compare the two. Had this video been made in 1990, it would look the same; except there would be no 737 NG to mention. It is clear that the A320, being made BEFORE the 737 Classic, is far more advanced in terms of technology and comfort. Just facts guys.

  • This is A320 vs CLASSIC 737, do a differences video between A320 and 737NG and let us see which one goes better... B737NG rocks!

  • @Louchobbemma you probably have never flown an aviation sim or actual plane if you're that unwise to make such a selective statement, and to think Airbus has bugs. Boing also uses fly by wire, and also uses loads of computer, and both companies use both pilots and engineers to design. Therefore, your statement was pretty stupid (to make it short)

  • Neat video, but did we really have to watch him walk back and forth so many times :P

  • Boeing aircraft are designed by pilots, Airbus aircraft by engineers. This means that Boeing aircraft are intuitive and logical. In Airbus EVERYTHING is automated which means that even Asians can fly them (and the Asian market is what they were designed for to begin with). Airbus aircraft are sooooo loaded with software (and their bugs) that it's Russian Roulette to fly an Airbus (Google for Les Hatton + Airbus). I'll never EVER fly Airbus.

  • How old is this and who compares a 737 classic to a A320? The 737NG is newer, better and more modern than the A320. In my opinion, you just chose the 737 classic because you think the A320 is better, well, not better than the 737NG, 747-400, 747-8i , 767, 777 or the 787. You clearly said that Boeing wasn't the best and the 737 classic was a success for Boeing's first short range aircraft. And relax in a plane? A pilot is flying a plane and not a holiday! Boeing For Ever!

  • @turbofan450 Well if the A320 in 2012 still has the same cockpit as in 1987, I'd rather go and see a manufacturer that upgrades its cockpits every now and then than one that has the same one for 25 years.

  • OMG Seriously a comparison with the Classic 737 :( Let's the the NG 737!!!!

  • While the A320 does have more advanced features than the 737, it is still quite old in technology compared to the EMB 190.

  • AAAAWWWWEEEESSSSOOOMMMEEE video.... loved it , make more please

  • Boeing, anyday of the week.

  • I see this video as a great unbiased comparison - both the A320 and 737 (whether Classic or Next Gen) are fine aircraft. Everyone can decide for themselves which plane they personally prefer - that's why some companies might be all-Airbus, some all-Boeing, and some a mix between the two.
