it sure is not an 82 rebel. the rebel didn't come out till 85, I have an 85 rebel which is the first year they were ever made.

To both of you meatheads, the bike is an 82 rebel. Made for doing wheelies as much as if not more than any bike costing more than the $800 paid for this one. When a bike costs less than my dirt bike, I'll lift the front end all day. I don't need asinine advice from People who think they know things about motorcycle forks. If the forks seized on this bike, i would buy another one. You guys are wasting your time.

@cobrachoppergirl sounds like your bike had a bushing seizure because the seals blew and it lost all it's oil. yeah wheelies blow seals, but so do whoops and jumps on a dirt bike, it's a fucking hour long job to change em out and bam, forks are good again, extremely common procedure for us dirt riders, shit breaks. casing a landing might bend them, but that's a different story. Anything can be rebuilt yourself, just takes time.
