I had the pleasure of working on the Ron Carey for General President of the Teamsters in 1991 as a Rank and File member of Teamsters #174 in Seattle, WA. He was able to make it possible for a whole layer of Teamsters to stand up and say, "We are Proud to be Teamsters!' I was able to meet and campaign with Ron, not only in Seatle, but at the Teamster Convention in Orlando, FL. where 285 delegates in lime green t-shirts shouted our support. Ron died a few years ago, RIP Brother. Doug F.
