All the expensive weapons like that are worth it. Does make the game a bit un fun though, especially on the early enemies where it's a one shot kill. That's one of the only things I preferred in Resi 5 was the ability to get unlimited ammo on all the guns, was fun playing through the game as normal but not having to worry about ammo.
