Michael Jackson press conference at the O2, London 2009

[5th March 2009]

Michael Jackson gives an anticipated anouncement at the The O2 Grand Concourse in front of press and 2000 fans.

Announces a residency in the O2 arena beginning July 2009, and calls it his "curtain call", at least for London - "this is really it".

I remember coming on this video in March of 2009 while he was still here and thinking to myself WOW.. like it was literally UNREAL to me he was coming back. I was around 13 then, so I didn't really get to witness him perform for major tours during my lifetime so I was SO happy he was coming back one last time.

Then.. a few months after, he's dead. Just like that. Now i'm left when these videos and 'This Is It' to cherish of what could have been. We miss you MJ..

I remember this day so much. I was crying just thinking that he wouldn't perform in London. And I was waiting: "See you in July..." :((

However, watching it again... Whether a 'double' or not, Michael's mannerisms are not the same. It's not just his voice, but the pumping of the fists, making poses for the cameras. Michael never acted like that in public, and that confidence was only exuded during his shows. It seems like TII was 'doomed' from the start - something was going on :((

@ILOVEMYMJJ i disagree,if you look at photos of michael in 08/09 this does look like michael,and michael has ALWAYS been shy when speaking, whether it be at press confrences,award shows, etc.. so there is nothing out of the ordinary there, if you look at more resent interviews like the interview with mj and wii i am, you will see that his voice is also the same. im in know way trying to bash your opinion, but if you look at some more resent things before his passing, im almost certain this is mj

to everyone saying "this is no mj" im going to have to disagree,go look up some candid photos of michael in 2008/2009 and videos,and you will see that it does look like mj.also about the whole "being shy" if you look at other press confrences/award shows michael was VERY shy when speaking or when he recieved an award.he had been out of the public eye 4 quite some time on top of his shyness. im in no way trying to bash anyones opinion,but i have studied michaels mannerisms.i certain this is him
