Hey PD. We were talking about our Jubilees last time and I was wondering if you were able to get close to a Plexi sound with it and how do you do it? Thanks!!

@thundersteve1566 Mostly because that's the tone I approximate by ear over the years, by EQ'g the amp. Mine has 6L6s and I play on the Rhythm Clipping channel with an old original TS808. I usually have the presence turned down, and the Mid & Treble around 10:00 & 2:00 respectively. It's really subjective and depends on the guitar and the player of course. Thanks!

Omg best instant hendrix sound on youtube. Awesome tone. Must be earbleeding loud though. Could you please tell me whether it has a split cathode on V1 or not? If so the amp is probably made before Feb 1967. Thx!

Wow, thanks man! Loud, but smooooth and tolerable actually because the highs are naturally attenuated due to the age and vintage. If memory serves me correctly I believe this one had the split-cathode configuration... Thanks for your comments and for listening.
