Blender/After Effects Composite

Blender Animation and DV composited with After Effects. The overall effect is pretty terrifying. I mean, where does the bird go? Is it good or bad? How many could I make in an afternoon? A lot is left unanswered.

Since your hands move around a bit, the "thing" has to follow your small movements.

There needs to be light projected on your shirt and hands where the light from the SFX thing would shine. It doesn't look like its "really there" if it has no impact on the live-action layer.

Alot of work is needed. I suggest if you really like this, going to a flim school over summer. the lighting is lacking, the animating is lacking. basically all of it is lacking giving you a bad result.

that's pretty sweet, I have a question I know there's a tutorial how to composite live action footage with blender files....but I was wondering if blender is compatible with Apple motion or Shake 4 to do this compositions or can I edit animated (blender) footage on final cut pro. In few words blender is compatible with final cut studio?

however your movement was not a effect the the energy ball (in the start)

yeah i think the integration with the synthetic and dv footage is crucial to make it believable even further
