I've actualy seen some TT racers come out of a medical facility with smiles on their faces. Why ? I asked the doctors and they told me the pilots came in for their transplant. What transplant ? The doctors told me they changed their balls with Titanium balls because steel makes rust after 1 race.

@oldtintoys The front wheel drops quickly because he uses a thumb operated back brake to bring it down. I have seen it on the bike and John himself explained to me how it worked.

this is real speed

@oldtintoys John comes to Belle Vue in Manchester to watch the speedway quite often and his '06 bike was on display there last year. I asked him about the rear brake and he pointed out that it's controlled by his left thumb via a lever on the bars - and often his thumb is hovering over said lever in anticipation of the front getting light - hence he can reign it in really quickly. But yes...it does seem somewhat unnatural when you see it on a vid'!

Of course!, i didn't think of that!

@oldtintoys The front wheel drops so quickly because he's on the rear brake before it even comes up.

...in that case...WOW!

hahaha.. Nice one!
I think this has been speeded up slightly as the front wheel drops to quickly...but there's no need to...they go at 200mph plus anyway!
...just sayin'
