@Crazygermankidowns give or take.. either way my particular motor was a 287 4.7L.. been building and tinkering with it for 6 years, im sure I would not make a mistake between 287 and 289 haha

@ryansap there are different versions idr what the lowest is but there was A code 225 and K ocde271....if thats a crate engine...then idk

@ryansap In 1965 the output for the 289 came in 3 flavors. The 2 barrel carb version put out 200hp and 282 lb/ft. the 4 barrel version put out 225 hp and 305 lb/ft. The last option was the Hi Po version that put out 271hp and 312 lb/ft

that is awesome. jut be aware that ford didnt water proof the cowl. unless he did that, that will need to be done
