Osaka Dialect (大阪弁) Lesson 8 -Yakuza Way of Speaking-

DO NOT ATTEMPT!
I did this only to make it easier for you to understand Japanese sentences including Yakuza way of speaking. Without the knowledge, I'm pretty sure that they are very difficult to understand because it's far from the so-called textbook Japanese.

I heard parents also use 誰に口利いとんねん　when the kids talk back to them.

haha yeah, it's not uncommon for parents to use that here in Osaka. Still, it's a bit vulgar (I use it too, but :p)

my boyfriend is from osaka and he always puts katakana for "キ when he is writing

instead of　き even if it is all in hiragana, he just write キ for き

is it because it is easier to write it? or does most osakan's do that?

@killerdanielle I'm afraid I have no idea why he does it :p It's uncommon and I have never heard of such a way of writing before. Maybe his own style.

@killerdanielle It's personal preference. There are certain writers in the Japanese language that write a word a certain way. Every individual has their way to write things.
