(Rebecca's POV)
The door opened and there was a woman standing there. She had black, curly hair and she was very pretty. It was Kevin's mom. It was totally obvious. He looked so much like her. Practically her twin but in a guy version. "Kevin, honey!" Kevin let go of my hand and hugged his mom. "How are you, Kevin?"
"I'm great, mom."
"I'm so happy you're here. Everyone is so excited to see you."
"I am too."
Then, Mrs. Jonas noticed me standing next to her son. "Kevin, who's this?"
"Oh, yeah. Mom, this is my girlfriend, Rebecca. Rebecca, this is my mom."
I held out my hand but she surprised me by pulling me into a hug. "It's nice to meet you, dear. You know, you're beautiful."
"Thank you, Mrs. Jonas."
"Oh, you can call me Denise. I don't mind. Well, come on in, you two."
We walked into the house and it felt very homey. A man sitting on the couch looked up from the newspaper. "Son! How are you?" He had walked over to hug Kevin.
"Great, Dad. I'd like you to meet Rebecca, my girlfriend."
"Oh, hello. It's nice to meet the girl who caught my son's attention."
"It's nice to meet you too, sir."
"Dad, where is everybody?"
"They should be here soon."
"Kevin!" The voice came from a little boy of maybe eight years old running up to him. Kevin knelt down and hugged his little brother.
"Hey, how's the man of the house?"
"Great. You should see the toys Mom bought me."
"We can see them later. Where are the other dorks?"
The boy laughed. "Coming, I think." He then looked over at me. "Hi," he said shyly. He reminded me of the little kid at the kissing booth a long time ago.
I knelt down like Kevin had. "Hi, I'm Rebecca. Who are you?"
He smiled and replied, "Frankie. You're really pretty."
"Thank you. You're pretty cute yourself."
"Frankie, stop being such a flirt," Kevin said.
"Dude, you're cramping my style."
I giggled. "Back off, man. She's mine." To show him, he wrapped an arm around me and quickly kissed me. We looked back towards Frankie and he looked sad. I knelt down and kissed him on the cheek.
"He's just jealous," I whispered to him. He smiled and nodded in agreement.
Suddenly, there was a loud thump as something hit the floor. I looked up to see a guy who had apparently landed on his face. A younger boy with curly hair like Kevin's walked past the boy, shaking his head.
He came up and hugged Kevin. "Hey Kev, how are you?"
"Great, Nick. How's things with Jenna?"
"Good. I think we're gonna be together for a while. Who's this?" He was referring to me.
"Oh, right. My girlfriend, Rebecca. This is Nick, the second youngest." We exchanged hellos. "Joe, get off of the floor and get over here," Kevin said.
The boy stood up and he and Kevin did this really odd handshake. I said hi to him as well and he to me. I noticed one thing about the three boys. They were all extremely good-looking. I guess it is in the genes.
We all sat down and ended up playing Pictionary. It was so fun, especially with Joe. He was probably the worst artist ever but it was hilarious trying to figure out what he drew. I was of course on Kevin's team. Kevin knew me so well that he was almost always the one to figure out my drawings.
"Are you okay?" he whispered to me.
"Perfect," I whispered back. We continued on with the game until Mrs. Jonas went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. I wanted to make a good impression so I told Kevin I was leaving and headed for kitchen. "Need any help, Mrs. Jonas?"
"Please, call me Denise. And sure, sweetie. I could use the extra hand. Besides, I wanted to talk to you."
"Okay. What do you want me to do?"
"Can you start cutting the lettuce, please?"
"Sure thing." I started helping and felt actually pretty nervous. I was alone with Kevin's mom. She could ask anything.
"So Rebecca, I wanted to talk to you about Kevin."

What would be the perfect way for a guy to propose?
When I was younger, I always wanted a guy to propose to me in German. Weird, right? Haha. I even remembered the phrase and everything. Now, it's like 'Marriage? Excuse me while I vomit.' Haha. Well, see ya.

PS: I finished Timeline by Michael Crichton and it was incredibly amazing! It is now in a tie with Sphere for my favorite book. I'm such a nerd. Haha.

I've never given much thought about marriage. [Lol sounds like what Bella said in Twilight,"I've never give much thought on how I would die."] But I think I would like it to be on the beach with a bunch of rose pedals and stuff around. And the guy to be a Jonas. [I would say Kevin but he's engaged so yea.]

idk.....something about mrs.j gave me a bad vibe. which was compleletly ridiculous, because she actually seems really nice. and about the question of the day, idk. i dont really think about marridge that much. i totally second ur vomit. but if i really did think about a guy proposing to me.....well, i wouldn't want it to be like way over the top, like you c in movies. just the classic down on one knee i guess. as long as he doesn't say something too cheesy. wait, y r u asking us this?

ok our song is playin on the radio [i planned it] we r outside under a gazeebo and he asks to dance with our song...it starts to rain and he stops dancing get on one knee and propsoses[i too want that] in german...lol then we kiss in the rain....haha
