Still Heavy. I saw Pat Travers and Pat Thrall live on stage at the Paradiso, Amsterdam. It was 1976, It was mid-'70s.

I remember seeing The Pat Travers band several times between 77 and 79, and I gotta tell you they put on one hell of a show,and damn could those guys tear it up!

That's amazing. Back in 1978 Bill Graham had one of his Day On The Green concerts at the Oakland Colisium. Some unknown band named AC/DC opened up. They rocked. The another no name act called Van Halen took the stage. Hmmm...that kid can play. Next up Pat Travers Band. He played so hard and so well that the audience had nothing left for the next two bands. Foreigner and Aerosmith. Pat's band was like four jet engines chained to the stage but running at full blast. Awesome.

If you've got any of the old school Echoplexes laying around, send them my way. Digital has made echo much cheaper, much smaller and a whole lot more reliable but I think the old 'Plex's sounded way better. Something about tape sliding across a magnetic head. Don't let these young pups get under your skin. We knew it all back then too remember? :)Keep on rockin' dude.

Exactly - I was at the front of the crowd at Reading in 1980...Iron Maiden were laughed off stage having to follow PT and then Def Leppard were canned off..I got hit in the head by a huge beer can during Tommy Aldridges drum solo.
