Abhinav Bindra (IND) Interview - World Cup Series 2011, Rifle & Pistol Stage 6, Munich (GER)

The 2008 Olympic Champion Abhinav Bindra, India's sole Olympic Gold medallist, talks to ISSF TV right after securing a pass to the 2012 Games. The Indian rifle ace made it to the 10m Air Rifle Final match at the 2011 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup Stage held at the 1972 Olympic Range of Munich, held from the 17 through the 23 of June. By entering the final, the sharpshooter won an Olympic Quota Place, an "entrance ticket" to the next 2012 Olympic Games in London. Bindra will have to go through trials to make it to the 2012 Indian Olympic team, but now he's much closer to the Royal Artillery Barracks venue, where the 2012 Olympic Shooting events will be conducted.
