  • I think Dave's system is the best. I'm a brown belt in Judo and I've just started in Jiu Jitsu (white belt). When watching Jiu Jitsu tourneys I see alot of people stiff arming with their heads down or trying to grab a leg. This is the best time to throw a Jiu Jitsu flat on his back. I don't know why so many schools don't apply Judo in their techniques.

  • that was shit hot! hard core judo mixed with BJJ.

  • I would strongly recommend Dave's book to folks who are looking to put a complete package together for tournament BJJ.

  • @TheJeepWheeler its a helicopter armbar

  • does this also do no gi techniques

  • CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THAT SWEEP IS CALLED AT :20. ITS SO FUCKIN CRAZY

  • Amazing foot sweep!

  • flashy stuff, it basically focuses on mixed martial arts as a whole.

  • hey .. this video is awesome

  • That armbar where he spins him on his foot was too cool

  • @TheMustardChoke It is a damn good book

  • @braddahjosh808 probably because of the starting position of many schools, being bent forward, hipsbacks, to avoid throws like that. many coaches also tell the fighters to not risk getting thrown flat on the back and get controlled by jumping the guard and weighing on yout oponent to drag him on the ground in your guard.
