  • I agree DJB0110. Texas doesn't have a grocery tax except on products containing sugar although that might have changed since I lived there. I remember how grateful my family was when the tax on prescriptions was lifted, and our family had terminally ill people in it. "It was a God Send!"

  • I moved from a state that didn't tax food to Alabama and I'm very glad to hear this issue is finally being address. Alabama's tax burden on people making poverty wages through its sales tax on groceries and also its income tax tables are indecent, immoral and should be a crime!
