    Yeah, I'm afraid that's where it's headed. Possibly. There are umpteen different paths this thing could take. It's fun, but frustrating.

    I think at some point this does take on a new age evolution humans evolve beyond tech aspect, or at least strongly hints at it.

    leena's baby seems to be the equivalent of Hera in Battlestar Gallactica. The hybrid, the upgrade. Apparently as was shown in a previous episode, the doctor from the Chillean lab said that eventually we might not need implants, that our own brains will become super-computers without the use of technology.
