Waverly Apparition Video Sample Clip Aug 07

This was shot on August 21, 2007. It is a sample of a larger video interaction of investigators with a whispy being that appeared at the doorway. Its a significant instance fortunate to have been caught on tape by a thermal camera. Details and other videos can be found here and on MYSPACE also.

About the moving crosshair: We [I] had the camera in my lap and was not aware of what was taking place but as a rule I leave the camera on even when resting just in case. In this case it paid off but the camera aim was all over the place witih the camera in my lap. I used motion removal on the video to concentrate on the area of interest but then the stationary portions of the camera then move if I hold the video still, hence the crosshair appears to be zipping around when it really was the camera doing the moving. Its a good technique and requires a lot of patience and keyframes to tune in.


If you want to capture this yourself, good luck. It was only visible for that moment and I was just in the right place at the right time in the last hour of a two day investigation..

It is tough to see if your not looking in the doorway through the entire thing. Screw the full version limits, I am going to post the entire thing when I can muster some time to get it on here for you guys. Its a valuable piece of evidence.

At 1:06 is the most evident. Look between the cross hair and the copyright text, along the right door frame. If you saw the original you'd realize what it took to get this much detail plus you tube recompresses video which makes it tough. Drop me an email and I can link you to an uncompressed version.

Please accept my apologies. Actually the videos go through so much compression its hard for someone to see the thing right away. I naturally assume some times folks can see this stuff right away when I have viewed it 100 times and under various conditions. That coupled with a very bad experience online from those very ones you talk about was truely uncalled for. very sorry. //ed
