sadly, it's the nature of his beast. we knew this was a strong possibility, with his case being so "iffy" to start with. he was given 3 days to live, however, we're going on 31 months since then...and still counting!
so happy to hear your kids are doing well, with everything they've been thru :) children are so amazing!!
i really hope we get to see the new place (no be patients tho) it was supposed to be a real state of the art place!

By the way, that's the view from the 2nd floor NICU east unit, obviously facing 34th street. The main entrance to the hospital is essentially below the windows.

We were there with our premie twins for over 110 days (just at CHOP) last summer ('08). I decided to do something like that just to document the time and the view. Good luck with your son.
rofl...do you know how many times i've stared out my son's window, there, watching the traffic, and counting the same cars that went by??

I just watched your video about your son. How is he doing?

he is ok. my husband enlisted in the army, and we are stationed in kentucky, so we now go to st. jude. in october 2009, they found "junk floating in his brain" (their words) but the lp came back clean. they are unsure what's in his brain, so he is now n.e.d. with caution. he has some up days with a few down days tossed in. scary, especially now that my husband is deployed. we keep praying! thanks for asking...and watching his video!! how are things with you guys?

I'm sorry he's still up and down. Our kids are coming up on 2 years now. Our daughter is legally blind, but has some vision. Our son was just diagnosed with moderate autism.

Yes, I think they have.
