Oscar Pistorius was born without tibia bones in his legs. He now uses prosthetic devices to walk and run. He was just permitted to try out for the 2008 Olympic games. Are his runnning prosthetics "Cheetahs" an unfair advantage versus other runners?

  • I think the prosthetic limbs probably give him an unfair advantage, unless someone can prove me wrong with a scientific study. But I haven't seen any on this.

  • Everyone's going to hate me for this but...I feel like an unfair advantage would be that prosthetic limbs can't get tired unless they break, which they probably won't during a race. I like that he has been given the ability to run again but I probably wouldn't feel okay with it if I were racing agains him in the olympics. I probably wouldn't do anything about it though.

  • Oscar Pistorius = Disabled Usain Bolt

  • poor little tink tink...

  • @SuperTruth77 is your brother johnny knoxville?

  • More spring? I don't think so? But look at Usain Bolt's calves, or any other sprinters calves, then look a Pistorius'. I think huge strong powerful calves, make up for POSSIBLY a tiny add of spring?

  • @CabbyG3 LOL I can T.J. Hooker he is always catching brothers including Jamaicans lol. But too be fair the human spirit is about over coming obstacles and adversity, remember the bobsled team from Jamaica trust me they will over come this guy also lol
