Why is everyone arguing about a history that's already written. Do I feel guilty about my nations history of 70, 100, 200, 300 years ago? No, why? Because it's not in my living memory nor is it my generation. History is there to be studied and learned from to make sure that WE, today, and future generations, do not make the same mistakes. Instead of pointless arguing, lets try and our energy into creating a better FUTURE for us all regardless of colour, religion or race.

@FadeToGrayLLC perpetual motion machines don't work since they violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics. I agree about fossil fuels though, but nuclear power has an underservedly bad reputation due to errors in the early days, we know how to do a better job now. Which is a good thing, since despite what you or I think, nuclear power is very much back on the agenda ( at least where I live in the UK -- we're joining forces with France to massively ramp up nuke production).

@dcanmore We really do need to stop the "in hindsight" fingure pointing. Drilling miles out into the ocean, Nuclear Plants melting down and using Dinosaur crap to make electricity and run our cars, We need to utilize the Sun more, along with the wind and perpetutal motion. Our generation has the burden of over 50 years of mistakes. I'm working on aqauculture and growing Prawn in the water and tomatoes and corn on top with a 95% return on my rcurculatory system each growing season. Anyone else?

@dcanmore We continue to make the same mistakes. The only thing that changes in the history of humans is technology. We are still the blood-thirsty, greedy, egomaniacs we have been since the Bible. The human brain has not evolved one bit. More thean likey because it hasn't had too. We have been at the top since after the last Ice Age. If we are to contuinue to thrive we have to finnaly cast off the shackles of fear and realizing our own mortality. The two main causes for War,and hatred.
