Sales data courtesy of VGChartz.com.

For the 43 Nintendo published titles, I excluded the ones that Nintendo only published in Europe or Australia but I did count games that were published by Nintendo in Japan but someone else in America (like the Mario & Sonic games, for example).

I also, in an attempt to be fair, eliminated a couple games such as Wii Sports (because it was a pack-in in the US) and Wii Play (because most copies were bundled with a controller). Including them would have bumped up the average factor from 3.9 to 4.1.

The 3 Nintendo published titles that sold better in Japan are: Wii Party, Mario Sports Mix, and Samurai Warriors 3.

Where's my Eagle Scout medal? It's part of a framed awards collage that's hanging on my mom's wall. Or in storage, I'm really not sure.

Jonesing for Last Story, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower? Check out Operation Rainfall, a fan campaign that's going to great lengths to convince Nintendo to release those titles in North America.

  • Nintendo's ready for some of that cheddar now.

  • @ericjraack

Or will be in April and some unspecified point later in the year but there's still plenty more if Nintendo wants it.

  • I listened to this. Three times. I love your voice. I would give YOU my money just to hear you say things.

Seriously, have you never thought of voice acting?

  • @AceofSpades2117

There are costs involved, certainly. But there's nothing to port. The games I mention in the video are already on the Wii and (with the exception of Fatal Frame 4) already in English.

Also, Nintendo isn't having trouble with money. Yeah, it had to cut its profit forecast for the year but the company is still profitable and still sitting on billions.

  • Well spoken my dude

  • Great video. :)

  • @n1bleachfreak

That would be peachy but it's probably not going to happen. According to Keza MacDonald's review at IGN, she's found no such option. On top of that, XSEED has said it's using the European localization for NA.

  • @andreweisen i hope it has original japanese track on it. Its going to have brit accented voices

  • @andreweisen I love this man, priceless. No wait, 400 bucks

  • Can't wait to see the follow-up. ;)

  • @cowmilk9999

    Yeah, I'm not worried.

  • @andreweisen Well, you're in luck there as well as XSEED is publishing the game for localization and they have a pretty great track record.
