A tutorial of how to field strip (disassemble and reassemble) an AR-15 rifle

Sorry I paused my speech a few times in the video, I got a little nervous lol.

Note: The "functions check" at the end of the video only works for SEMI-AUTO AR-15's, because your rifle would need a secondary sear to engage to produce the clicking noise, and a full-auto trigger doesn't have this secondary sear.

  • sniffles.

  • great vid...but that little pin is called a cotter pin :)

  • @CMgunguy44 My AR has an ambi select fire (semi-auto, burst, and full-auto) but it doesn't fire burst or full, I think its because I don't have a hydrolic buffer ... do I ABSOLUTELY need one to fire auto and burst? Because the only one I could find was at this store that over-prices drammaticly and I don't have much to spend freely right now.

  • is that a bcm charging handle? if so what size is that?

  • HAHAHA MYYYYYYY AR has about oneeeeeee thousand, hundred, million rounds through it

  • Blow your fucking nose you nigger

  • 1000 rounds? HAHAHAHA!!!! my ar has had about 6000 rounds thru it.

  • Is there a name for the scope mount that is compatible with the carry handle? Where purchased? Thanks

  • thanks dude. i am hoping to get an ar-15 soon and don't want to look/feel like a dumbass wondering how to disassemble it. is that one of those old-style CAR-15's?
