why is it that the white guy that had to be the racist one?? this is fucking racist?
-
I find the diversity training to be more racist than the actual problems. There is no segregation, no lynching, none of that, so please spare the diversity training videos which will reinspire segregation and lynching.

This bloke may be right - or he may be wrong. Whatever he is, we don't laugh any more, do we? Which is the bigger sin? I know nobody who HATES anybody else; I know nobody who wouldn't help someone in trouble or danger - whatever their persuasion or colour. But I know plenty of people whose lives are made that little bit happier by the occasional joke about the rabbi, the paddy and the Englishman. It's a good trade-off - and we ALL do it to each other!
-
So the Pope, a Jewish Rabbi, a Muslim Imam and a black Baptist minister walk into a bar, and the bar tender says: "What is this, a Joke?".

Welcome to 2010. It's now fashionable to create "racial understanding" by pitting all non-Caucasians against Caucasians with any and all technologies. I wonder if any of these "enlightened" people ever considered what their standard of living would be in this world were it not for the hard work and genius of Caucasians?
It's laughable. A black dude walking around wearing nice textiles in a modern building loaded with Caucasian technologies, and looking so dignified as he spews out his racism.

Thank you for the insights. I've found that much of diversity training is simply learning about the things we have in common and understanding how to practice positive behaviors. I think in terms of behaviors that lead to people getting to know and trust each other and work well together instead of all the noise and conflict that frequently gets in the way. The end result is workplaces where everyone is happier.

@isourchildrenlearnin You hit it on the nail. As my mother always says, she prefers to work with men rather than women. She is an immigrant so she does not resort to rumors and behind the back gossip. She calls her female co workers "the bitch pit", because they keep sending emails to the boss complaining about each other. I used to work with a senile woman as well. She kept complaining to the boss about me, and he just laughed it off, because he knew I was doing good work.
I'm offended by this guy. He refuses to finish any of his jokes. That's just plain rude!

Cultures don't mix. We each do things our own way, and if we
try to find one way for everyone, no one gets to have it their
way. We can "agree to disagree" but then we can't make
decisions for society at large. We are distinct peoples, and
each needs its own space.
