Just because Paul Simon wants to keep his music protected doesn't mean you have to call him a douche. He's extremely talented and a legend. He has every right to say "no, you cannot use my song". Any self respecting artist does.

@ThePopeAndI the thing is he's not protecting it. if anything he's squandering free advertising. and since anime fans are not (in general) his typical audience, this combo would likely bring people who don't listen to him into his fanbase. that's one reason i like to use seldom-used songs in amvs. they expose people to different music. it's definitely happened with me.
