Daryle LaMont Jenkins, of one people project, decided to call Andrew Breitbart a racist. Afterwards I confronted Daryle on the tactics he is using.

So what do you want, a medal? Way to skirt the issue. The fact is that intimidating places into cancelling events (or beating the attendees as they arrive) is a form of censorship and even if you or Daryle or whoever isn't personally doing it yourself your support/approval of such actions promotes that sort of agenda. So I find it hard to believe that you would allow any group that espouses an ideology that you disagree with to even exist.

@SkunkyAngry You sure talk about DLJ a lot, so I don't know about that. Anyway, OPP writes about what happens and frankly any misfortune to an scumbag like Irving we aren't going to shed any tears over. More often than not, the articles are about how Irving holds his little meetings. I was at the one in NYC where we protested outside. In fact, I was also at one in New Jersey where not only the hotel let Irving do his thing, but they let us stay on hotel property to protest him!

What about the countless - I repeat, COUNTLESS - number of times that someone like David Irving was set to speak in some hotel ballroom somewhere only to have the antifa threaten and intimidate the hotel owners into cancelling the engagement which of course, results in an obnoxious little article on the OPP site bragging about this? What are these videos you're talking about?? I can only stomach so much DLJ so I haven't watched them all.

@SkunkyAngry Previous statements from DLJ as evidenced in other videos were that they can speak but its as far as it goes. If they try to turn their speech into action it will be dealt with, and their speaking does not mean there will be a response. You're the one that keeps saying that we are denying them their right to speak, and I understand why. Right-wingers need to make themselves look like the victim, and that's the best way to do it because no one likes them. Take a hint, willya?

Now there's a niggardly reply.

So now you're saying that these people SHOULD be allowed to speak freely? That doesn't seem to coincide with your previous statements and it sure as hell doesn't sound like the attitude that Daryle and the rest of the antifa movement hold. They love to gleefully boast of successes in shutting down conferences and speaking engagements by these people. It seems to me that a flat out ban would be something they'd support.

Question: If, god forbid, you or DLJ ever got political power would you ban these far right groups that you're fighting against? What about a group like Youth for Western Civilization? You've profiled Kevin DeAnna alongside violent neo-nazis so obviously you think he's worthy of such a title. What about a group like Focus on the Family, an anti-gay, pro-life Christian organization? Would you ban them too? Where do you draw the line with freedom of speech?

You know, for someone who claims to be against nazis, you sure spend a lot of time emulating their worst behaviors. I give THEM props for at least being willing to accept criticism of their beliefs and debate with people (albeit in a confined manner) as opposed to people like DLJ who, if given the chance, would probably remove the larynx out of anyone who disagreed with him.
